CONNECTING POSSIBITLIES

OUR MISSION

Faith In That Christ Has Annointed My Potential Success: mentoring program that focuses efforts on improving the image & attitude of the next generation youth leaders & student-athletes. We work directly with: coaches, parents, teachers, students, & community philanthropists.

We promote self-discipline, self-motivation,
self-determination, & TEAMWORK both on and off the court!

Through our Mentoring program, we strive to:
• Create new young leaders, through enhancing their personal development;
• Create higher standards, through vision;
• Create a positive outlet for the community; through outreach.

Our programs are structured to provide results. We implement powerful methods/events/opportunities which positively mold each athletes mind, body, and spirit.

Our programs will strengthen self-esteem, self-motivation, and self-discipline.

We use our fitness training programs and entertainment as a tool to engage the youth, then expose them to elements of life. We continue to improve and further develop vital life skills that enable our team to be LEADERS among their peers!

REACH OUT

We’re committed to equipping our players to maximize their potential on and off the court. That’s why we’ve created our mentoring program, S.W.A.G.—to help FIT CHAMPS train smarter, lead by example, study harder, develop better habits, raise their standards, thrive through adversity, and reach their goals.

Mentoring, at its core, guarantees new players that there is someone who cares about them, assures them they are not alone in dealing with the day-to-day challenges of life, and makes them feel like they belong to the group. Ultimately, mentoring connects a person to their own personal growth and development, as well as social and economic opportunity(s).

F.I.T. C.H.A.M.P.S. has created a mentorship program whereby mentors can prepare children to be better able to l careers and assist with their workplace skills by:

  • Helping set personal goals and taking the steps to realize them.

  • Using personal contacts to help mentees network with other players and coaches, find camps to attend, and help them become the best person possible.

  • Generally work towards helping a mentee reach their goals, whether it be in high school, college or even the professional ranks.

The number of ways mentoring can help an aspiring child are as varied as the people involved in the program. While statistics can be impressive, personal stories can be even more impressive, we can tell you all about them! If you are interested in becoming a mentee in the S.W.A.G. program, please contact Elwyn Smith, the current director of the mentoring program.
